Details

Bond-A-Block (B-A-B) is a versatile, thin jointing material for laying AAC blocks, fly ash bricks, concrete blocks etc. It is specially designed to provide stronger, much more durable bonding between the blocks and superior adhesive strength. It replaces conventional cement and sand mix mortar.B-A-B is now ready for application.

WHERE TO USE:
Bond-A-Block can be use an jointing mortar between the AAC & cement blocks.B-A-B is now ready for application.

HOW TO USE:
(A) SURFACE PREPARATION: Application area should be clean, with no loose particles or dust for better bonding. Efflorescence & any other contaminant which could impair the natural bond should be removed. The surface of block should be slightly wet prior to application of jointing Mortar.
(B) MIXING: Depending on the thickness of the product to be applied, add approximately 25-30% of clean potable water powder to get a smooth, uniform, workable mix. Allow ample of time for initial mixing. B-A-B is now ready for application.

  • Pre-mixed and ready to use. Just add water at site.
  • No water curing is required after application.
  • Easy to mix. Much faster to apply due to its superior flow-ability and water retention properties.
  • Thinner jointing material with very high adhesive strength improves overall masonry strength and bearing capacity.
  • Raking of joints is not required before plastering.
  • Ready for plastering just after 24 hours.
  • Eliminates lengthy process of site mixing, transport and storage of all individual materials.
  • Raw materials are processed, reducing the chances of efflorescence.
  • (B-A-B) jointing agent is made from Eco- friendly materials.
Under normal conditions, the coverage of (B-A-B) is approx. 90-100 sq.ft. with average thickness of 3mm for a bag of 40kg for blocks size 600x200x150mm. The coverage area however will depend upon the quality & evenness of the substrate, thickness of joints and size of masonry units.
For better results use within 12 months from the date of manufacturing.
Keep the material in a cool, dry place since it is a cement-based material.
Bond-A-Block should not be exposed to direct atomospheric conditions. A partially used bag should be stored in airtight conditions.
20kg & 40kg bag.
